• Year 5 - Poet Laureate
  Year 5 had a wonderful poetry workshop this morning at Middleton Library with Rochdale’s poet laureate, Sammy Weaver. They explored creatures in nature and wrote a poem about an animal or plant and how it thrives in the natural world. Well done year 5!
• Year 5 - Science Lesson
  In Year 5 we have been investigating the effect of air resistance on falling objects by making parachutes of different sizes and timing how long it takes for the object to fall to the ground.
• Year 5 - Refugee Week
  Refugee Week: Year 5 have been learning about what a refugee is and have shared their ideas about how they can help refugees and asylum seekers.
• Year 5 Trip to Liverpool Museum
  Year 5 have had a great day at Liverpool World Museum!

  Year 5 have enjoyed their PE lesson on the field this afternoon. They have been practising their cricket and rounders skills
