Where there are places available but more applications than places, the published oversubscription criteria, as set out in the admission arrangements for 2023, will be applied. Parents are advised to read the admission arrangements carefully before making their application.
If there are no places available, the child will be added to the waiting list. Please see the admission arrangements for more details.

In order to provide for continuity of progress for your child, liaison visits will be made by our Reception Class staff to your child’s present nursery or pre- school establishment. Any records which the nursery/play group etc hold regarding your child’s development will be passed over to our staff in order that they can plan the type of work and play activities your child will be ready for on joining us here at St. John Fisher School.
Secondary School Liaison
We operate a close co-operation with Cardinal Langley RC High School. This ensures that the transfer for your child is as smooth as possible and that there is continuity in their education. Staff from both schools meet regularly to discuss curriculum and general liaison. Prior to leaving St John Fisher RC Primary School your child will spend an induction day at Cardinal Langley RC High School.
