St John Fisher Roman Catholic Primary School, Rochdale

Love Jesus, love learning, inspiring each other to be the best that we can be.

Religious Life

At the heart of all we teach must be a love of God, of His people and of His world.

To foster this, we teach pupils about the Roman Catholic Faith and the influence that the practice of the religion should have in every aspect of their lives.

Such teaching is not only evident in religious lessons and prayer and liturgy, but it underpins all we teach, across the whole curriculum. It is evident every day in the classroom in the attitudes, responsibilities and skills we attempt to foster in our children. It permeates all areas of the secular curriculum.

We attempt to foster, in a Catholic atmosphere, qualities of mind, body and spirit. A daily act of worship is held. We follow the ‘Come and See’ scheme, as promoted by the Diocese of Salford.

Hope in the Future

Diocese of Salford renewal programme is Hope in the Future.
